Description
A statue of Abbot Pennings, seated on his abbatial chair, was adorned on the lawn on the building's west end and now in the St. Norbert Mulva Library. An artist who used large photographic prints as a guide did the statue, designed and carved in Italy. Including installation, it cost $5,800 and was blessed and dedicated on June 17, 1964. The statue was a gift of friends of the college.
