A Case for a Hispanic Hospitality Ministry Plan for the Catholic Diocese of Green Bay

This thesis project provides an in-depth description of the Hispanic community in the Diocese of Green Bay to identify and illustrate their needs. It examines how the Hispanic community collaborates and interacts with itself and others. It demonstrates how the cycle of oppression excludes, dictates, and hinders personal and spiritual growth.

It argues the need to embrace culturally diverse radical hospitality that includes Hispanic practices and empowers them to be equal partners in the mission and evangelization goals of the Diocese of Green Bay. This approach would bring the Hispanic community into a post-Vatican II philosophy of missionary disciples where it shifts from primarily catechizing to emphasizing evangelization and hospitality.
