Abstract
The “Double Dutch to Dreams” team from Milwaukee taught how to double dutch, sing songs, and learn tricks. Dr. Kyra Gaunt, author and performer, led a family-friendly discussion, “Whose turn in the Ropes?” on the history of double dutch among kids and its influence on popular music, considering how race and gender influence the game and the sport.
