Description

The Congregation of Norbertine Sisters was founded in 1902 in what is today the Czech Republic. After World War II, the order was repressed and its members separated for decades under communist rule. After the fall of communism in 1989, the Congregation reestablished their community and began to grow again, ultimately leading to their establishment of a new chapter in the United States in 2011.

In their presentation, Sr. Adriana and Sr. Therese will share about the founding of their order, the inspiring story of the preservation of their faith under communist repression, the renewal of their order in Slovakia, and their present way of life in California.
