Abstract
This fundamental work, three volumes in all and written in Latin, details the history of each Premonstratensian foundation from the beginning of the Order in 1121 through 1956. The volumes are organized by circary, each with a short history, bibliography and a list of abbots for each foundation. The volumes also include genealogical charts, circary maps, and images of the coat of arms for each abbey, if available.
