We do this primarily by drawing on the resources of the rich and dynamic Catholic intellectual traditions. As taught by the Second Vatican Council, the Catholic tradition develops over time through study, contemplation and engagement with the world. We believe sustained conversation with other academic disciplines and a variety of religious traditions is essential to the study of theology and religion. Inspired by the Norbertine value of radical hospitality, we advocate for the inclusion of many persons, voices, and perspectives, especially those historically marginalized for any reason.
