Abstract

At this time of this story, Valerie is a senior majoring in psychology. She is a first-generation college student with a passion for helping others. While at SNC, Valerie Rivas '21 has been involved in Latinx Student Union, Growing Stronger Together and Multicultural Student Services. She had a Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship with Alexa Trumpy (Sociology). They researched the #MeToo movement specifically focusing on men and masculinity as well as how men fit into the conversation.
