Description

In a senior capstone course on religious ethics at St. Norbert College, students explored hospitality as a theological and ethical concept, examining its application to marginalized communities such as the homeless. Their work included a case study of St. John the Evangelist Parish’s homeless shelter in Green Bay, prompting thoughtful reflection on the tensions between Christian ideals and real-world challenges. The project deepened students’ understanding of hospitality as a core Christian value, calling for compassion, inclusion, and practical creativity in addressing complex social issues.
