Miracle Kid Melissa Bruebach ’15 made sure Dance Marathon was part of her wedding-day planning. Still in her bridal gown, she dropped in on the student fundraiser between photos and reception! Bruebach was one of 11 Miracle Kids who boosted the student-org fundraiser to a remarkable $84,570.06 total to benefit children’s hospitals.

Jenny Matzel '95, a researcher in the Nuclear & Chemical Sciences Division at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, uses radioactive elements to determine the age of materials and trace their origins. When Patricia (Sieren) Frederick ’71 talks about art, her passion not only for her own work, but for teaching it to students, is palpable. For 41 years, Frederick has taught art at Pius XI Catholic High School in Milwaukee, and as department chair she has led the school’s art program to national prominence. Her own work, including the oil painting “A Rabbit’s Tale” featured here, speaks to her talent.

St. Norbert alum the Rev. Domenic Rossi ’70 was elected abbot of Daylesford Abbey on Jan. 23. The new abbot's leadership at the Pennsylvania abbey places him at the head of the first daughter abbey of St. Norbert Abbey, De Pere – but Rossi’s SNC connections do not stop there.
