Abstract
As a part of the St. Norbert College Art & Society lecture series, Sky Hopinka delivered a Zoom lecture and presentation of his films on March 9, 2023. Sky Hopinka is a Native American visual artist, filmmaker, and member of the Ho-Chunk Nation who has developed new forms of cinema from an indigenous perspective. He is a MacArthur Fellow for his work offering new strategies of representation for expressing Indigenous worldviews. This lecture was supported by the Norman Miller Center for Peace, Justice, and Public Understanding.
