Artist Statement
As a designer, I work primarily with Illustrator and Photoshop. I like the way the two programs mesh. For example, my Stop Kiss Play Bill design. I drew the image first in Illustrator and then switched to Photoshop to add texture. I also enjoy working with light through photography. The way an image or object can transform by the way the sun hits it or reflects off of different colors it is extraordinary. I also enjoy creating sculptures out of everyday found objects, such as bark. Basically, I love to experiment and enjoy the process of making which can sometimes lead to unexpected plans.
