Description
Dolce Vita Limoncello is a fictional hard Italian liqueur brand I created consisting of three different liqueur flavors—limecello, citruscello, and limoncello. Dolce Vita, which translates to “sweet life” in English, includes three unique bottle designs, merchandise, and promotional advertisements to establish the brand. The brand’s bright colors are inspired by colors found in Italian packaging and design. This project was influenced by my time spent abroad in Italy, where I photographed various Italian designs and landscapes that became a key source of inspiration.

Artist Statement
For my senior project, I designed a limoncello liquor brand called "Dolce Vita," which translates to "Sweet Life" in English. The project includes three unique bottle designs, merchandise, and promotional materials to establish the brand. Drawing inspiration from Italian tiles and culture, the brand highlights the beauty of Italy through its design.
The logo abstractly represents traditional Italian tile patterns, symbolizing the essence of Italian artistry. The brand's colors are inspired by the vibrant hues in Italian design and packaging, capturing the country's bright, cheerful spirit. Limoncello, a beloved Italian liquor, is the perfect product to embody this sense of Italian tradition.
This project was influenced by my time spent abroad in Italy, where I photographed various designs that became a key source of inspiration. My goal was to create a brand that evokes a nostalgic Italian feeling while remaining fresh and lively. The project ties back to my previous work in packaging design, where I enjoyed creating a seltzer brand from scratch and bringing it to life through photography. In all my design work, color plays a crucial role in defining brand identity. I’m particularly drawn to using bright, contrasting colors to make my designs stand out.
