Abstract
The Christian missionary strategy in the Igbo communities of Nigeria, West Africa, has been deficient, as is evident in the marriage process. To be considered married, an Igbo Catholic Christian must undergo three different kinds of marriage. In this thesis, the researcher employs facts analysis and comparative method, to demonstrate that Christianity fit into any culture. He argues that elements proper to Igbo culture can be inculturated to the Christian message. The New Evangelization will animate, direct and unify the Church and its host tradition, bringing a new way of life in Christ.
