A most excellent celebration

It’s a new chapter for the college and for the United States, too. The inauguration of St. Norbert’s seventh president preceded the U.S. election by less than a month. This conjunction of events has us looking at new beginnings that stand in noble traditions – and the kind of leadership that will ensure success in the 21st century.

On the cover: New president Thomas Kunkel leaves the platform after his inauguration Oct. 10. Behind Kunkel, the Bishop of Green Bay, David Ricken, and Abbot Gary Neville, O.Praem., ’73 lead the procession of guests departing the installation ceremony, held in Schuldes Sports Center.
