They may be Muskies or Eagles, one-time Sabres or Wildcats. But they’ll always be Green Knights. Beth Borgen ’01, one of three SNC alumni at the helm of a Wisconsin private college, will succeed David Black as Lakeland University’s president this spring.

With the 2019-20 academic year about to begin, the campus community responded to new calls to community from two dynamic and well-regarded speakers – one already well known to them, one visiting from the American Association of State Colleges & Universities (AASCU). Keynoting the 33rd annual faculty development conference, Paul Wadell (Theology & RS, Emeritus) led his colleagues into a critical conversation about the college’s institutional and personal missions.

Summer 2019: We’re Looking at a Packed Summer

Aaah, the long, lazy days of summer … time for the beach, the cabin, the fishing trip; time for family and friends; time, too, for meditative afternoons alone with a book. Our St. Norbert friends make time to enjoy the season. But the tote they grab as they head out for a sunny day is packed with more than their water wings and sunscreen. Their plans are rich and diverse, and they pack accordingly!
