Work started in August on the Mel Nicks baseball and softball complex along Lost Dauphin Road, and a wing of the former Minahan Science Hall was remodeled as part of the overall Gehl-Mulva Science Center project.

Colin Zuelzke ’17 has played a variety of sports – soccer, tennis, baseball. He enjoys snowboarding, but his favorite athletic pastime is hurling, a team game of Gaelic roots that was first played more than 3,000 years ago.

An influx of young talent and a newly extended competitive season set the stage for the winningest year ever for the St. Norbert College women’s tennis team. The Green Knights won 24 of their 29 dual meets during the 2013-14 season, smashing the previous school record for victories of 15.

Summer 2013: A Theology of Hospitality
Melanie Radzicki McManus '83
In a senior capstone course on religious ethics at St. Norbert College, students explored hospitality as a theological and ethical concept, examining its application to marginalized communities such as the homeless. Their work included a case study of St. John the Evangelist Parish’s homeless shelter in Green Bay, prompting thoughtful reflection on the tensions between Christian ideals and real-world challenges. The project deepened students’ understanding of hospitality as a core Christian value, calling for compassion, inclusion, and practical creativity in addressing complex social issues.
